Multiple Scattering Properties Based on Modified Microsurface pBRDF Model

Scattering polarization properties are one of the main characteristics a target. Different material types target surface can be expressed by scattering properties, and use to characterise more effectively is highly interesting topic. However, existing polarized bidirectional reflection distribution function (pBRDF) based on microfacet theory for modelling light transmission over rough surfaces not general. Modelling phenomena accurately microsurfaces from single specularly full consideration diffuse remains challenging task. In this work, we further introduce directional lobe completely define in scattering, revisit microsurface masking shadowing part model, expanding traditional symmetric V-groove structure, which complemented an asymmetric structure improve accuracy model description. We verify through series simulations experiments that our better agreement with actual truth it suitable describing most targets.
